For the non-literary buffs (which can be me at times) a Stream of Consciousness is “a special form of interior monologue and is characterized by associative leaps in syntax and punctuation that can make the prose difficult to follow” (thanks to Wickipedia). It is a process of understanding/hearing the thoughts of a person.

I was contemplating how this fits in with film, and does it? Have you seen any movies that have attempted to incorperate this “literary narrative mode”?
