This is just what’s in my mind after the Lamarque reading.

We talk about author and his/her influence on of the piece of literature. The piece the author creates is very personal to the author and there is a set of context, history, personal feelings associated with it, so we can see that many times, say for example, a movie can be classified as an “Alfred Hitchcock” movie.

We as designers are are expected to get close to the users. We have to understand the users needs. What ever we make is intended to be used by them. In that case, how can we see the designer in the design itself? Is it important to observe a design like that? What difference can we perceive if we get to know a design like that? We, pretty much make what the user wants, not what we want or what we like.
